What goes on a Glidely board
A board is made of lists, and lists hold cards. Each card is one task, with everything about it in one place:
- Who is on it (one or more assigned members)
- A due date, with overdue and due-today badges
- A checklist with a progress bar
- Labels, a priority and a story-point estimate
- Comments, files and links
- A description for the details
When the work moves on, drag the card to the next list. Everyone on the board sees the change straight away, without refreshing.
Four views of the same work
Switch any board between Board, Table, Calendar and Timeline. The table lists every card in rows, the calendar shows cards on the days they are due, and the timeline lays them out over time. It is the same data in every view, so nothing needs copying.
Limits that keep work flowing
Give a list a card limit, for example three cards in In progress. Glidely shows how many cards the list holds against its limit and flags it when the list goes over, which is the work-in-progress limit at the heart of kanban.
Start in seconds
Every new workspace comes with a ready-made board (To do, Pending and Completed). New boards can start blank or from a template such as Project tracker, Sprint board or Bug tracker. Press N to add a card to the list under your mouse, and F to filter the board.
Built for working together
Invite people by email or with a link, and give each person a role: Co-owner, Editor or Viewer. You can also invite someone to a single board. Talk the work through in team chat right beside the board, and keep files on the cards they belong to.
